We are able to control the valves using both a hardwire and a radio method. If it makes economic sense, we can run wire underground directly to the valves. If this is not economical, we use our 900MHz radios that can travel over one mile and bend around trees, levies, and buildings.
Yes, the user can input the desired temperature that they would like to be notified at. Using a temperature gauge at the pump site, the system will send the user a text or email alert when the temperature gets below the set number.
Our system will alert you with an email or text message when there is a problem with the pump - and in some cases - shutdown the pump before anything gets damaged. In the “Settings” page, you get to set what should trigger an alarm. You can set things like: what pressure is too high or too low at the pump, what pressure is too low at the valve or how much of a difference your filters should be at. If any pressure goes outside of the parameters you set, it will send you an alarm.
